1) Today a non-extraction orthodontist named
— Bruno Felpeto in Paris recommended 4 exceptional orthodontists in Spain and Tunisia for treatment of complicated orthodontic cases. One is
— Dr. Perreira in Leida, Spain. Another is
— Dr. Ramon in Malaga. The third is
— Dr. Malagon in Madrid And in Tunis he highly recommended
— Dr. Scandar Ellouze, who only treats patients damaged from previous orthodontic treatments.

My dentist was Martha Cortes in NY but now is David Cook in London.
I had a turbinate reduction + nasal valve repair and a DISE (under Dr Park) to determine cause of UARS (severe tongue base collapse, Epiglottis collapse, and AP palate collapse + tiny airway), he recommended MRNA+mouth taping which helped to correct my bite, stopped the bruxism, trained the tongue, prevented soft palate from collapsing, and opened the airway. It helped fix my sleep a lot together with the APAP. I used the MRNA for some lateral expansion but not a lot.
Then I moved to AGGA + CAB which was always the plan because my lateral width wasn’t “bad”, but then I asked my dentist if we could add some width anyway (as I’m going though so much I thought what the heck) so he added a MARPE (a type of maxillary expander) as I don’t have enough space or bone for MSE and he thinks it’s too aggressive and not necessary in my case. My dentist was Martha Cortes in NY but now is David Cook in London.
I got 6mm forward growth with AGGA and 6mm lateral with MARPE. I’m lucky because I have strong healthy teeth and gums and no gum recession - some people are however really susceptible to this. A good dentist should not push your growth beyond its limits and should stop treatment if there are any issues like bone loss or gum recession.
I finished MARPE and had upper and lower CAB placed. Then I recently had implants (pre-molar) in the gaps created by AGGA (so I now have 36 teeth as I never had extractions!) + have lower CAB for about another 4 months and that’s the end of my treatment. I still mouth tape but stopped using APAP.
I also had a frenectomy (tongue, lip, and buckle tie releases) and have done a lot of OMT. I use a posture pump for my cervical spine which I think is great. I no longer have TMJ or neck/upper back pain and my posture is a lot better. I will have a MAD made to sleep in once my treatment has finished.
